Storage Replication Adapter (RSA)

A Storage Replication Adapters (SRA) allows VMware Site Recovery Manager (SRM) to integrate with 3rd party storage array technology.

The Storage Replication Adapters are software modules for Site Recovery Manager that are developed and supported by storage partners of VMware and are distributed  by VMware with the permission of the storage partners.

It can be difficult to determine which SRA is being used with a particular SRM deployment.
This article provides information to help you determine, from a VMware SRM perspective, which SRA is installed.

Resolution

SRA information can be determined from the SRM log files on the SRM server. The name of the log file is vmware-dr-X.log, where X is an incremental number. The log files are typically located in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\VMware\VMware vCenter Site Recovery Manager\Logs.

Search in the logs for command.pl. The SRA that is being used is in the full path to command.pl.
