SSH security

/etc/ssh/sshd_config
  • PermitRootLogin yes/no
  • Protocol 2
  • 3DES cipher
  • To disable SFTP, comment out: Subsystem ftp /usr/libexec/openssh/sftp-server
Restart ssh for change: service sshd restart
